Most ear, nose and throat problems are straightforward to resolve once someone examines them properly and explains what they find. Careful diagnosis first, then the least intervention that will actually work.

Clinical practice

More than twenty years treating the full range of ENT presentations — hearing loss and ear disease, nasal obstruction and sinus disease, vertigo and balance disorders, voice and swallowing problems, and swellings of the head and neck. Surgical work centres on endoscopic nasal and sinus procedures, with over a thousand performed, alongside ear surgery and head and neck operations.

Teaching & research

A gold medalist in MS ENT at Manipal University, he began teaching at Kasturba Medical College and has led the ENT department at A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences since 2019. Twenty-eight indexed publications, with sustained work on facial nerve palsy protocols, endoscopic sinus technique and imaging in the planning of ear surgery.
